This page summarises how AEO.express handles the data behind a scan, a founder purchase and a public profile.
What we collect
A domain you submit for scanning, the public pages we crawl from it, your email if you start a scan or purchase a founder place, and payment metadata handled by our payment processor. We never store raw card details ourselves.
What is public
A founder profile is only published with explicit visibility settings. Public surfaces — the leaderboard, supporter board, directory and activity feed — never show an email address or payment identifier, by construction: those fields are filtered out before a row is written to a public table.
Retention and deletion
Account and company data can be deleted from your settings page, with a confirmation step and an explanation of what is retained for financial record-keeping.
Takedown
If a public profile needs to be corrected or removed, contact us and we will review it under our moderation process.
